Minutes from September meeting agreed -- moved Cherie, seconded Joey.
1. Bunnings BBQ debrief
Generally agreed that is was a very successful event. Raylene thanked all volunteers. Cherie had distributed an email after the event to show a profit of around xxxx.
Some reflections:
- we under-purchased in the lead up to the event, so ended up having to do constant re-stocks during the day. Suggest we look at the amounts of each item actually purchased over the day and set that as new base amount;
- we should buy more bottled water in future, as this is both healthier for customers and gives a better profit margin;
- the Square proved VERY useful both in keeping the queue moving and in 'reckoning' after the event. There may be some Square costs (transaction fees) to still come in;
- we could usefully use more volunteers on the day.
Committee approved reimbursement to Cherie for the purchase of the Square ($65).
2. Website upgrade
Committee:
- noted advice from Tony about Ben's progress with the website upgrade; and
- approved reimbursement to Ben of $US16 for purchase of a website template.
The committee had a range of questions around both the functionality of the proposed upgraded site, and also how it would interact with our existing arrangements with domain and hosting.
We would like to invite Ben to our 11 December meeting so that he can give us a run-down on what is proposed and generally address the committee's questions.
3. 2024 meeting dates
It was agreed to again hold ordinary committee meetings at Eastlake FC on the third Monday of each month. While it is noted that Monday is not ideal for all committee members, it seems to be the 'best least worst' option. Dates proposed are:
19 February 19 August
18 March 16 September
15 April 21 October (likely AGM date)
20 May 18 November (tbc)
17 June 16 December (tbc)

4. Raffle draw
With invaluable assistance from former Capital Tigers President Greg, we drew the raffle for the Richmond football (signed by the 2023 men's AFL squad), the hamper of Richmond merch and the 2x$20 'Roar Store' vouchers. Winners were:
